Driving from the South
Pass through Rathmullan village on the R247 heading towards Port Salon. After just under a mile you will cross a small bridge (entrance to Kinnegar beach will be on your right) and the road will swing round to the right past Drumhalla House. There is then a VERY sharp bend to the right and Lady Margaret’s Lodge is about 200 yards ahead of you on the right hand side. The easiest way to spot it is a small brown wooden fence on top the wall, at the end of that are the large wrought iron gates to enter the property but they are tricky to see until you are upon them. A few feet past the gates is a small road also on your right which leads to 3 or 4 white cottages.
Driving from the North
Head down the R268 from Port Salon which joins the R247 at Otway and follow towards Rathmullan. This junction/Otway Golf Club is just under 2 miles or so from the Lodge. When you see a group of three cottages on your right and a further 4 or 5 white cottages soon after, you are almost at the Lodge. The large wrought iron gates will be in front of you on the left hand side, just at the turning point to a small road also on your left which leads to 3 or 4 white cottages.
